Inland Empire Cold Storage is a family owned and operated company founded by the Sacalas family in 2005. When they founded IECS, the Sacalas’ already had over 70 years of experience successfully managing their own trucking company, Landjet Motor Carriers. Their extensive knowledge of transportation logistics, particularly of refrigerated items, creating a cold storage facility seemed the next logical step for the family. The Sacalas’ wanted to provide customers with the same level of customer service and flexibility in cold storage that they have been offering in trucking for more than 2 decades. Between Landjet and IECS, they can provide full logistical distribution for cold and dry freight within southern California. To maintain the level of quality the Sacalas family have built their reputation on. They spared no expense in the design and development of the cold storage facility.
